Solo & Ensemble Sign Up

 

Students can begin signing up for Solo & Ensemble this week by filling out a slip for each event and turning in the funds for the event(s). Each event costs $5.00 per person. i.e.: If a student is performing a solo, the event will cost $5.00. If there is a group of students performing a trio, the event will cost $15.00. You will need to locate the ID number for the piece from the FBA list which was added to the Google Classroom for each ensemble last Monday.

Events that are assigned as part of a course will have the costs covered up front.

For those who sign up and fulfil the performance obligation by following through with S&E, the up front costs will be applied to any outstanding fees that you owe.

Students that select a piece that requires an accompanist MUST procure an accompanist for your event and submit the name on the slip. You cannot perform your piece without an accompanist if the music has this as part of the performance.

Winter Prism Tickets

We will not use tickets for this year’s Prism event. However, the $5.00 admission can be applied to a student’s account. There will be slips in the lobby that can be used to identify where you would like the admission cost applied.

Children 7 and under will be admitted for free.

Weekly Grade Slips 

As of Monday, December 4th, weekly grade slips should be turned in through Week 6. Each member is responsible for turning in these items to ensure they are up to date with their grades for their primary band course. Extra slips for weeks 1 through 5 are available for those who have failed to turn these in on time. Check the black podium to get the necessary items to complete this task.

Student-Led Performance Opportunities

  • Basketball Pep Band! If you are interested in taking part in this unique ensemble to support Blue Darter Basketball sign up on the board! If you have questions, see Brittany McDaniel!
